Chandrababu Naidu likely to take oath on June 8

May 25, 2014 - Hyderabad

The TDP president and Chief Minister designate Nara Chandrababu Naidu is like to take the reins of the State on June 8. The oath taking ceremony is likely to be held at Guntur.

The tentative date of swearing-in ceremony will be confirmed only after the TDLP formally informs of the same to the Governor. The Governor will then call on its leader to form the government in Andhra Pradesh. The formal meeting of the party's newly elected MLAs at Tirupati will elect him as the party leader in the first week of June.

First signatures as Chief Minister

TDP sources said that Naidu is likely to sign the files of crop loan waiver, SHG loan waiver and ban of belt shops in the Seemandhra as his first three signatures as Chief Minister. The files will be put on dais immediately after swearing in as the Chief Minister of the State at the oath taking ceremony.
