Centre turns down State Government plea on additional information

The Centre has turned town the plea of the State Government that sought additional information on the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 stating that it was not necessary at this point of time.
It is understood that the Centre has responded in the back drop the Lok Satta party chief Jayaprakash Narayana along with some MLAs who sought additional information raising some issues stated that it was incomplete. It is reportedly made it clear to the Chief Secretary PK Mohanty that it was the prerogative of the Parliament to consider the amendments. They stated that the draft bill was sent and no modification was required and the President has only sought the view of the Assembly by January 23.
It may be recalled here that Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan along with some MLAs raised some issues saying that it was neither gave statement of object and r5easons for the bill nor the financial memorandum that explains allocation of funds etc. to the Speaker who forwarded the same to the Chief Secretary.
