January 18, 2014 - Hyderabad
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Rajnath Singh addressing the Nation Council meeting in New Delhi asserted that the party would create separate Telangana State after forming Government.
Rajnath Singh said that the UPA has failed to act despite it offered support for formation of separate Telangana Sate. He said that it would also find a solution to the problems of the other areas of the State. He said even after five years, the UPA government that promised a separate State could not able to achieve even after the main opposition offered its support. The dissatisfaction and outrage in both Telangana and Seemandhra region has increased due to Congress hypocrisy. He charged the Congress that showed more interest in balancing its political equations instead of addressing the problems.
The remarks of Rajnath Singh gained importance at a time when Congress is planning to place the Bill in the Parliament and hoped the Bill be passed.
