March 24, 2014 - Hyderabad
In a setback to the alliance talks between Telugu Desam and BJP, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) insisting more seats will lead to problems.
The TDP chief said that he would not take any step that would harm or weaken the interests of the party. Chandrababu said that he is keen to ensure that both the parties emerged victorious in the coming elections. The TDP being a development oriented party preferred to have a tie up with BJP for providing a stable and efficient government at the Centre, he said. It was better for the two parties to analyze the issue and go forward together, he said.
