The Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao turned down the adjournment motion moved by YSRCP MLA SG Srikanth Reddy asking the party members to bring it up in another form. The party MLAs raised slogans and went into the well of the House shouting ‘we want justice’ which was countered by TDP making it a nosily and unruly scene in the House.
The Speaker who adjourned the house for 15 minutes initially could not find an atmosphere for the conduct of the House after it reassembled forcing him to adjourn the House to Tuesday. The members who raised slogans included Roja, B Nagi Reddy.
The Minister K Atchan Naidu said that that those who actually encourage violence are demanding a discussion on law and order and said that the motto of the opposition party is to stall the proceedings.
