Andhra Pradesh and Telangana get 7 new trains in the Railway budget

The Union Minister for Railways Sadananda Gouda announced allotment of seven new trains to the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Sadananda Gouda said that there are 29 projects pending and a special committee will be appointed for that. He said that Rs.20,680 crores are requested for completion of the pending projects.

The newly announced trains are:
1. Vijayawada-New Delhi daily AP Express train
2. Secunderabad-Nizamuddin premium AC train
3. Mumbai-Khazipet weekly Express
4. Visakhapatnam-Chennai Weekly Express
5. Paradeep-Visakhaptnam weekly express
6. Nagpur-Secunderabad semi bullet train
7. Chennai-Hyderabad semi bullet train.
