Andhra Pradesh State capital to come up between 'Vijayawada-Guntur', says Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday that the new State Capital will come up in between Vijayawada – Guntur and it should not be decided by a Central Committee.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the new State capital should be developed like that of Hyderabad and it would cost nearly Rs.4 to 5 lakhs. It will come up in over a period of 10-15 years. On land acquisition for the construction of a new capital, he said that the government would come up with a policy in a couple of days and added that no State has been created without such policy. Naidu said that the development in Andhra Pradesh would be decentralized and added that he will place all the facts before the people.
