‘Change of name of Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University is a hasty decision’, says AP ministers

A delegation of AP Ministers led by Deputy Chief Minster KE Krishna Murty called on the Governor ESL Narasimhan on Wednesday and lodged a protest against the unilateral decision of Telangana government in bifurcating Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University.
The delegation comprising of Agricultural Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, Medical and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana and Communications advisor Parakala Prabhakar.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the delegation urged the Governor to convene a meeting of the Chief Secretaries of officials of the two States to resolve the issue. The Communications advisor Parakala Prabhakar said that he had written to the Telangana Government to fully honor Section 95 of AP State Reorganization Act.
