APNGOs Association serve indefinite strike notice

APNGOs Association with the representatives of various employees associations fighting for keeping the State united on Tuesday submitted indefinite strike notice on the Government from February 6.
APNGOs Association president P Ashok Babu handed over it to the office of the Chief Secretary. Speaking to media, he said that with the Centre going ahead with the bifurcation process, they would once again forced to go on strike to denounce the Centre's autocratic functioning.
Action plan announced
Ashok Babu said that the employees in all the 13 districts of Seemandhra will go on strike. It may be noted here that they had gone on indefinite strike from August 12, 2013 to October 18, 2013 and had called off the strike temporarily. They would stage dharnas from February 7 to 9 in front of the houses of Seemandhra MPs and Union Ministers who did not back their agitation to keep the State united. He said that the employees would take out 'Chalo Parliament' programme on February 17 and 18 besides being the leaders of various parties at the national level to garner their support.
