Government decides to lift cases slapped during Samaikhyandra agitation
August 8, 2014 - Hyderabad
AP Government advisor Parakala Prabhakar speaking to media on Friday said that the Government is lifting all cases slapped during the Samaikhyandra movement.
Prabhakar said that out of 952 cases, 106 cases were already lifted. He said that by lifting these cases, as many as 4,482 persons will be getting relief. All the remaining cases will be examined and will be lifted.
Prabhakar said that RBI is imposing some problems and even if RBI does not cooperate, the Government would affect loan waiver scheme. He alleged that the past government is held responsible for not re-scheduling the loans by RBI.
He said that the earlier government has neglected in writing to RBI over reschedule of loans in drought prone mandals. He said that the government cannot given a clarity on fresh loans and added it will take some more time for raising funds.
