AP Government to launch ‘Polam pillustondi’ programme

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday announced that a special programme named as ‘Polam Pillustondi’ will be organized shortly in the State.

Addressing a group of farmers association representatives at his residence, he said to get food, employment, development and welfare asked the agricultural scientists, farm community and official machinery to participate.

Naidu said that the government is considering to distribute ipads to the farmers for knowing the up to date information on agriculture, seeds, fertilizers, market trends through net. He accused that due to previous government’s misrule and unscientific methods, the development programmes in the field of agriculture was put to a stop.

With the obstructions on Polavaram project was cleared, the ayacut stabilization will be done for Visakhapatnam Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts. The waters of Vamsadara, Nagavali rivers can be better utilized by the people of Viziangaram and Srikakulam district. The people of Nellore and Chitoor would get benefitted with Somasila and Kandaleru projects.
