AP Assembly passes AP Public Employment Bill 2014

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday introduced AP Public Employment Bill 2014 in the State Assembly enabling the extension of the retirement age from the existing 58 years to 60 years. The Bill comes into force from June 2,2014.
With the passage of the Bill, the retirement age will be applicable to all the State Government employees in the State with immediate effect. He said that the services of the experience employees are necessary for the government after the post division of the State. He said that the government could deliver good administration if both the Government and Employees work together. The Assembly passed the bill.
