AP Assembly witnesses heated exchanges between TDP and YSRCP on Law & Order situation

The heated exchange between the ruling party TDP and the Opposition in the Assembly YSRCP marked the situation on Law and order in the State Assembly on Friday.
The Speaker of the Assembly Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao initially adjourned for ten minutes and later forced for the day following the TDP and YSRCP MLAs went into the Speaker podium with the former demanding Jagan to tender an unconditional apology while otherwise by the YSRCP.
The Speaker has asked the Opposition leader Jagan Mohan Reddy to withdraw his comments which was denied. Jagan has asked the ruling party MLAs to withdraw their comments terming them as murderers etc., TDP MLA D Narendra urged the Speaker not to take up any other item for discussion till Jagan tenders an apology.
The Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said that ‘a person of your stature and your responsibility… it was a sweeping remarks that I never heard in the House. It is not only unparliamentarily but also totally irresponsible’, said the Speaker. He said that ‘either you withdraw your words or I shall expunge them from the record. They will not go into the record’. The Speaker said that the remarks of Jagan would not go on record.
The ruling party members who sought immediate withdrawal or suspension are Ministers Palle Raghunath Reddy, Government Chief Whip Kalva Srinivasulu, Dhulipala Narendera, P Srinivasa Reddy among others.
