'25 litres of drinking water for just Rs.2', says Deputy Chief Minister

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister N China Rajappa inaugurated a water tank that was constructed at a cost of Rs.31 crore in Rajahmundry on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, China Rajappa said that the Government will provide 25 litres of drinking water at a cost of Rs.2 from Gandhi Jayanti day on October under 'NTR Sujala Sravanthi Pathakam', he said. "The government is taking steps to waive loans to DWCRA (Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas) groups," Rajappa said, adding that the TDP government would fulfil its poll promises.
To solve the drinking water problem in Pithapuram, a Rs 31-crore project has been prepared and steps would be taken to complete it within nine months, he said.
