Chandrababu Naidu seeks support from Centre

- Addressing a press conference on Friday in New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister designate Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the TRS should desist from issuing provocative statements on Polavaram Project as it causes nothing loss to anyone. He said that the TRS is giving provocative statements for political gains. Chandrababu Naidu said that small issues if any can be sorted out with mutual discussions. Naidu said that the liabilities have been divided on the basis of population while the assets otherwise.
He said that he met the Prime Minister and Union Ministers and apprised them of the need to give financial assistance to Andhra Pradesh for its all-round development. He wanted them to do justice to the people. He requested to implement the three packages given to Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu said that complete assurance was given to him by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chandrababu Naidu announced that he would be taking over the reins of the State on June 8 and has invited the Prime Minister who obliged his request.
