TDP MP Harikrishna resigns from Rajya Sabha for integrated State

The TDP Rajya Sabha member Nandamuri Harikrishna who submitted resignation to the Chairman of the Upper House M Hamid Ansari on Thursday demanding the State to be united was accepted. The Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien announced this within few hours. Harikrishna has extended his support to the integrated State while the party is not averse to separate State. He who defied the party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu in this context and even faxed an open letter to Naidu and referred to how Naidu diluted the spirit of oneness among Telugu speaking people that was founded by his father and it shows his intention of parting ways with the TDP in the coming days. Harikrishna is the first Rajya Sabha member to quit on bifurcation issue.
Visalandhra Mahasabha welcomes
The general secretary of Visalandhra Mahasabha Parakala Prabhakar welcomed the resignation of Harikrishna to his MP seat. He suggested the other MPs of Andhra and Rayalaseema regions to submit their resignations in the Speaker format and get them accepted in support of united Andhra Pradesh.
