TDP and Congress to back APNGOs agitation for Samaikyandhra

In another move in stepping up the agitation for keeping the State united, a meeting of the 'Samaikhya Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika' with the political parties have decided to come together.
In the second meeting it had with the political parties, TDP, Congress, Samajwadi Party decided to participate in the bandh call on January 3. Lok Satta party reportedly agreed to back the agitation programme.
Speaking to reporters, P Ashok Babu along with the Minster Sailajanath, TDP leader S Chandramohan Reddy and Jagdish Yadav of Samajwadi Party announced that the agitation would be kick-started with a public meeting in Visakhapatnam on January 2.
Decides to submit affidavits
The TDP and Congress MLAs from Seemandhra have decided to submit affidavits to Speaker Nadendla Manohar favouring a united State. On January 10, resolutions would be adopted in every gram Panchayat in Seemandhra region against division of the State.
