State-wide bandh condemning Hyderabad bomb blasts

The Bharatiya Janata Party and Viswa Hindu Parishad have called for a state-wide bandh condemning the twin bomb blasts in Hyderabad yesterday. The causalities from the blasts has reached 14 and injured over 119. The impact of the bandh will be very minimal as the other political parties have not expressed solidarity with the bandh.
Educational institutions in Medak were closed voluntarily.
The BJP leaders have staged rasta rokos at few junctions in Hyderabad/ The police took some of the leaders who are staging protests into custody.
BJP party activists have attacked a petrol bunk which remained open today despite the bandh call in Karimnagar. Furniture was destroyed in the incident.
BJP party workers staged a sit-in on the road in Nalgonda.
