State leaders meet President on bifurcation issue

Telugu Desam Party leaders from Seemandhra have met President Pranab Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan today. They conveyed their opinion on the bifurcation of the State. Earlier Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has also met the President.
Speaking to the media after meeting the President, TDP leader Payyavula Keshav said that they urged the President to ensure that the State remains united if the Union Government can't serve equal justice to people of both the regions. Keshav criticized that the Union Government is acting alone without taking into confidence the sentiments of the people of the State.
Meanwhile, YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy also met the President.
The President has reached Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad earlier in the evening. He is received by Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. Few ministers from the State Government also welcomed the President. He will attend the IPS passing out parade tomorrow at the Police Academy. The President will rest at Raj Bhavan tonight.
