Stage set for the exit of Dharmana and Sabitha

In swift developments in the political circles in the State, the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who returned from Delhi summoned ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabitha Indra Reddy.

The Chief Minister reportedly told them that the party high command is not in a mood to continue them in the cabinet in the wake of the resignation of union ministers Ashwin Kumar and Pawan Kumar Bansal from the Cabinet. It may be recalled here that the R&B Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao who has been charge sheeted in Vanpic case while the Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy as the accused in the Dalmia Cements, both of these relates to the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy. These two ministers served in the Rajasekhara Reddy cabinet during the period 2004-2009.

Dharmana Prasad Rao who was summoned before leaving to the State capital had series of meetings with his followers before being flown on Saturday. Both these two ministers drove to the Chief Minister's residence at his Jubilee Hills late in the night in their personal vehicles keeping away their minister's protocols. It may be recollected here that Dharmana who has been charge sheeted in August last submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister who has been holding on it while Sabitha in April this year also offered to resign. It may be recalled here that Sabitha is to appear before the CBI court on June 7 in the case.

TDP chief leads a delegation to President

In the back drop of mounting pressure on the Government by the main Opposition to sack the tainted ministers, the TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu leading a delegation the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee on Monday the need of his interferences in the issue. The delegation includes Nama Nageswara Rao, Rathod Ramesh, N Siva Prasad, Venugopala Reddy, Yanamala, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, Ravula Chandrasekhara Reddy, KE Krishnamurthy, Umamadhava Reddy, Revure Prakash Reddy, Dhulipala Narendra, Payyavula Kesav and Revanth Reddy along with ten MPs.
