- The 'Telugu Tejam' bus yatra by Lok Satta chief Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan has begun at Kurnool in the morning. Speaking before launching the yatra, JP criticized the rest of the political parties saying that they are ready to stoop down to any level for the sake of gaining votes. He blamed the centre for creating a division among the people of Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
- Women at Anantapur has launched the Nari Garjana protest in support of Samaikyandhra.
- TDP leader Murali Mohan has lashed out at the Congress party for their decision to bifurcate the state. He said that Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has decided to bifurcate the state with the sole intention of making his son the next Prime Minister of the country.
- Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal said that they are waiting for the Antony committee to visit the state. Speaking to media in Hyderabad, he made it clear that they won't accept any resolution to the issue other than to keep the state united.
