Seemandhra leaders to take indefinite fast from September 3

In another attempt to Congress high command to roll back the decision taken bifurcating the State, Congress leaders from the Seemandhra region plans to take up indefinite fast from September 3 at Hyderabad according to the Minister for Primary Education S Sailajanath. Sailajanath demanded that TDP, YSRCP, BJP and CPI to withdraw their letter sent to the Central Government supporting division of the State.
Resignations are a must, says Parakala Prabhakar
With the people demand to keep the State united, all the Ministers, MPs and MLAs should resign in Speaker format said Visalandhra Mahasabha spokesperson Parakala Prabhakar and president N Chakravarti on Friday in Visakhapatnam. Prabhakar said that it is imperative on their part that they should resign as per people's demand and they have no right to represent the people if they do not resign. He said that the Mahasabha also gave a call to all the Gram Panchayats to pass a resolution to keep the State united with Hyderabad as capital and send the same to the President. He added that he did not believe that Delhi failed to understand the intensity of the agitation and added that it started understating that it's an agitation started from the people on its own. Chakravarthy said that a survey done by CNN-IBN revealed that majority of people in Telangana did not want division of the State.
