August 27, 2013 - Hyderabad
The Hyderabad City Police on Tuesday warned of severe action against those outsiders participating the agitation.
City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma speaking to media on Tuesday said outsiders (other than government employees) including political leaders will not be allowed to participate in protests at government offices as it may lead to tension as pro and anti-Telangana supporters may clash. It may be recalled here that the both the Seemandhra and Telangana employees almost came to blows during the protests at offices at Vidyut Soudha, Jala Soudha and other government offices during the last few days. Anurag Sharma said that employees can organize peaceful protests but police will not give permission for the participation of outsiders. On the proposed APNGO's meeting on September 7, he said that a decision would be taken depending upon the circumstances.
