Police assess personality of MIM MLA Akbaruddin on the second day of custody

The police continued to grill MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi on the second day, the police tried to assess his personality. According to sources, Akbaruddin was asked about his habits, his childhood, books he read and his understanding of the culture. The questioning began at 11 am on the second day and lasted till 5:30 pm with a break of one hour for lunch. Akbaruddin experienced difficulties sitting for long hours due to the stomach pain and was given breaks every hour.
Utnoor assistant superintendent of police Ambar Kishore Jha, Nirmal rural circle inspector A Raghu and Bellampalli deputy superintendent of police M Ravinder Reddy formed the team to question Owaisi. The investigation officers also took the help of Jagityal police inspector Mohammed Ghouse in getting the replies of Owaisi translated. The proceedings were being video recorded. Doctors from the Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad have checked Owaisi in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Osmania University police are gearing up to seek custody of Akbaruddin Owaisi. The OU police has filed a case against the MIM legislator at the direction of a city court.
