'People in the country are yearning for a new leadership', says BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Nadu addressing a gathering at the party office in Hyderabad said that the people in the country are yearning for a new leadership that would carry forward the legacy of AB Vajpayee.

Participating in the 89th birthday of former Prime Minister Vajpayee at the party office where he distributed sewing machines to the poor said that some State Ministers and MPs want to join the BJP. He said that the leadership of Vajpayee had brought international recognition to the country. Venkaiah Naidu said that the former Prime Minister had made the country stronger and checked inflation and price rise, reduced interest on crop loans and created new three States without rancour among the people. He expressed concern over degeneration of values in the politics adding that it turned into business called the youth for rectifying the situation. He said that the people were looking forwards toward the leadership of the Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was the only hope, he added.
