PCC Chief hits back at Chandrababu Naidu for politicising Uttarakhand floods

A day of the dharna by the Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu at AP Bhavan accusing the both Centre and State Governments of his failures to provide relief to the evacuated pilgrims, the PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana hit back at him.

He said that in this hour of tragedy, it was the duty of Chandrababu Naidu to cooperate in improving facilities for the evacuated pilgrims and instead is blaming the government which was the first to dispatch a team of officials to Dehradun to coordinate the work. He wondered as to why the TDP president was creating a ruckus when he did not bother to know about the situation in India but preferred to stay in the US for ten days. He after realized that the party lost sufficient ground as to reach to the crisis and to cover up the lapse he is indulging in protest demonstrations.

Backs Kiran Kumar Reddy

Backing the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, the PCC chief said that there was no delay on the part of the government in reacting to the situation. He said that it is a fat that hundreds of pilgrims who had been stranded there have been brought back to New Delhi safely and sent to their native places at government cost.
