Mopidevi Venkataramana walks back to judicial custody

Former Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, an accused in the VANPIC aspect of the quid pro quo investments case of Kadapa MP and YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy back to judicial custody on Thursday though interim bail was granted till October 31.
Mopidevi cut short his interim bail and surrendered himself in a special court. A counsel appearing on behalf him filed a bail petition in the Second Additional Special Judge for CBI cases posted the matter to Friday to allow the CBI to file a counter. It may be recalled here that Mopidevi was granted interim bail till October 31 by the Principal Special Court on September 16 to undergo medical treatment for a problem in his spinal cord. In his bail petition, he requeted the court that the investigation into all aspects of the case was complete and there was no instance of him influencing or threatening any witness in the case.
Court allows Vijay Sai's appeal
The Court while allowing the second accused Vijay Sai Reddy to visit Delhi to appear before the Enforcement Directorate Adjudicating Authority whenever required with regard to cases registered under Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The court directed him to file memos to the court and inform the CBI before his every visit till March 31 next year.
