Ministers to meet informally on September 19 to thrash out issues on division of State

In a bid to find a solution for the present day issues relating to the bifurcation of the State, the Ministers from Seemandhra and Telangana will meet on September 19.
Minister for Law Erasu Pratap took the initiative with his Cabinent colleagues from Telangana at a time when no move is coming from the Congress Central leadership. The ned to bring together Seemandhra and Telangana Ministers for building a consensus on the some of the crucial issues reportedly come up at a meeting with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in the very recent past. Pratap Reddy informally told to the press persons on Friday that such an initiative was necessary to break the impasse. He said that he represented Srisailam constituency in Kurnool district whose survival was dependent on Srisailam irrigation project and the project will come a bone of contention for both sides as issues linked to sharing of water and power generation cannot be addressed overnight.
