  • The Intermediate examinations began today. Set No. 3 was selected for the first year examinations. As many as 2,633 exam centres were set up for the conduct of the exams.
  • Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will tour in Medak district today. He will inaugurate several welfare programmes on the visit. Kiran Kumar will return to Hyderabad at 4:45 pm.
  • The ONGC pipelines were leaked at Adavipalem in Malkapuram mandal of East Godavari district. The locals ran in panic as the gas was leaked making a lot of noise. This is the second time in a week that gas was being leaked.
  • A victim of the twin blasts of the Dilsukhnagar died while getting treatment at the Yasoda hospital. The deceased, Ravi Kumar, hails from Karimnagar district. The total death count of the blasts reached 17.
  • The district task force committess will begin inspections of engineering colleges in teh state from March 7 to 22. Inspections would be made in at least 100 colleges.
