  • Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu lashed out against the Congress and YSR Congress Parties claiming that they have spent huge amount of money to win the recent co-operative elections. The TDP president said that corruption was spread through out the state. Addressing people on his 'Vastunna Mee Kosam' padayatra in Krishna district, Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSR family has taken advantage of caste, religion and power to earn money illegally.
  • Former Kadapa Mayor Ravindranath Reddy was granted bail by the Additional Civil Judge court in Kadapa. Ravindranath Reddy has recently surrendered himself before the court in connection to a forgery case. Meanwhile, a lie detection test, Narco and Brain mapping test petition against Ravindranath Reddy was filed in the court, which was posted to March 4 for hearing.
  • Police has recovered a bag filled with gelatin sticks at a garden near the Imli bus stand in Hyderabad. Earlier, rumors of a bomb in the bus stand has trigerred panic among the people. The police sprung into action immediately with bomb squad personnel who found a bag lying suspiciously in the garden.
  • Telangana Nagara Samithi president Nagam Janardhan Reddy criticized TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao for sacking a TRS leader. He criticized the TRS chief for his attitude in not joining with others in the fight for a separate Telangana state. Nagam lashed out against the TRS chief for diluting the Telangana movement.
