'MIM plans to expand its base outside Andhra Pradesh', announces MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi

Speaking at a massive public meeting on Saturday night, MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi said that Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen would field its candidates in the next elections from Karnataka, Maharashtra, UP, Bihar, Gujarat and other States.
Addressing an impressive gathering at Khilwat grounds in the old city organized to mark the fifth death anniversary of former MIM chief Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, he said that the party is already have seven MLAs in the State Assembly and one in MP and also bagged a few seats in local body elections in Karnataka and Maharashtra, he said.Owaisi said that he had received several phone calls from outside the State expressing support, he said that hew would visit various States to bring together the minorities and weaker sections of the society and the party is fighting for their constitutional rights.
MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi charged the Congress government for imposing ban on his visit to Maharashtra and said he would now send his brother Akbaruddin to visit various State. On the issue of territory status to Hyderabad, the MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that Hyderabad as a permanent joint capital of Telangana and Seemandhra would also not acceptable to them. He questioned when Gujarat Chief Minister Modi can visit Hyderabad, why cannot we go to other States.
