Job Mela-State Government to issue notification to fill 6,000 VRO and VRA posts

The State Government is preparing to issue notification on December 28 to fill up nearly 6,000 vacant posts for Village Revenue Officer and Village Revenue Assistant.
The Minister for Revenue N Raghuveera Reddy speaking to media on Saturday said that the vacant posts to be filled included 1657 VSRO and 4305 VRA post and the respective Collectors would issue notifications in all the 23 districts in the State. He said that the decision to issue notification before December 31 has been taken so that men and women who were given two year age relaxation would not lose the opportunity.
He said that the applications will be available at Mee Seva, eSeva centres and through APonline and should be submitted online by January 13.
The educational qualifications for VRO is Intermediate while SSC for VRA and the upper age limit for VRO is 36 years while 41 years for SC, ST and BC candidates and 47 years for physically challenged. For VRA posts, the upper age limit is 37 years and for SC, ST and BCs, it is 42 years and for the physically challenged, it is 47 years.
The Centre for Good Governance and APPSC would conduct the recruitment test and an objective test type in Telugu, English and Urdu for 100 marks and would be held on February 2 for VRO and for VRO it would be held in the evening.
The results will be announced on February 20 and after verification of certificates of the selected candidates from February 26 and appointment orders would be issued by February month end.
