- Five persons sleeping on a footpath were killed in a road accident when a bus ran over them near Benj circle in Vijayawada.
- YSR Congress Party honorary president YS Vijayamma would meet President Pranab Mukherjee at 6:15 pm today. She would handover the signature campaign petition of the party in support of Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Party MPs, MLAs and MLCs would accompany Vijayamma.
- Union Minister Balram Naik said the Centre would stand on the December 9 announcement on Telangana. He expressed confidence that the Centre would keep its word on the formation of a separate Telangana state and an announcement on the same would be made soon.
- BJP national leader Venkaiah Naidu demanded the government to take action against MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi and his brother and MP Asaduddin Owaisi for their inflammatory comments. He ridiculed the comments of the MIM party that Congress and BJP are conspiring to put Akbaruddin behind the bars.
- The 'Vastunna Mee Kosam' padayatra of Chandrababu Naidu has entered day 7 in Khammam. He has resumed the yatra from Mudigonda mandal today.
