September 23, 2013 - Hyderabad
The special court for CBI cases on Monday granted bail to YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy who filed a bail petition in a special court seeking relief on the ground that the CBI investigation in the charges framed against him were over. The court while granting bail to Jagan Mohan Reddy imposed some conditions that includes that he should not Hyderabad without court permission, should not speak with the witnesses connected to the case and furnishing two sureties with each furnishing Rs.2 lakh bond. The counsel for Jagan speaking to media said that all the formalities required will be completed tomorrow morning and Jagan will be out on Tuesday.
It may be recalled here that the Investigating Agency had arrested the YSRCP chief on May 27 last year and is currently in Chanchalguda Central Prison. Accordingly, the CBI informed the court that its investigation was over as per the directions of the High Court.
