Chief Minister inaugurates Infotech's Kakinada development centre

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy laid the foundation stone for the incubation centre at the IT-SEZ at Sarpavaram in Kakinada. He also inaugurated a unit of the Infotech Enterprises at Sarpravaram. The 5-acre campus is the seventh development centre for Infotech in the country and will employ 850 professionals. The Chief Minister asked Infotech's founder BVR Mohan Reddy to also set up centres in two-tier cities like Srikakulam, Medak etc. to generate local employment.
Union Minister for Human Resources Development MM Pallam Raju said the government will train 1.2 million rural youth and given employment through the National Skill Development Programme.
Ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Vatti Vasanth Kumar, P Viswaroop, Thota Narasimham, Ganta Srinivasa Rao were present.
