IAS officers' Association bats for retired former Secretary Parakh
October 16, 2013 - Hyderabad
The Andhra Pradesh IAS Officers’ Association took strong exception to the CBI for not including the names of ‘high and mighty’ involved in the collective decision to allot coal blocks to Hindalco Company of Kumar Mangalam Birla. Association Secretary Prashanth Mohapantra said on Wednesday that CBI may have reasonable suspicion that a conspiracy was hatched against people of India in the Coalgate scam but what is bothering is how the CBI has only listed some of the conspirators avoiding the most influential in the collective decision of the Union Government on coal block allotments.
The Association members will meet in a day or two to discuss the unfairness in the CBI’s approach in registering an FIR only against PC Parakh, retired IAS officer of AP cadre and former Secretary, Coal.
