AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh visits Hyderabad amid protests

AICC general secretary and in charge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh who arrived on Thursday was greeted by Samikhayndhra protesters 'Digvijay Singh Go Back'. Tension prevailed at Shamshabad airport with the Samaikyandhra Parirakshana Vedika protesters raising slogans and holding placards.

Seemandhra JACs staged protests at the Lake View Guest house where Digvijay stays and raised slogans 'Go back'. They squatted on the roads.

Seemandhra JAC leaders and Parirakshana Vedika leaders accused him for division of the State.

Digvijay Singh had a lengthy discussion with the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on the draft bill. It is said that Digvijay Singh reportedly advised him to adhere the decision of the party high command while Kiran Kumar Reddy reportedly said in negative as they could not accept the division of the State as party high command has taken unilateral decision.
