DMK may not support 'no-confidence' move
December 11, 2013 - Hyderabad
DMK had hinted on Wednesday that it may not support the no-confidence motion moved by some Seemandhra MPs including from those of Congress. Party chief M Karunanidhi said that ' "There is no relation between the approach followed by DMK in certain issues and the no confidence motion brought in on the Telangana issue. That is a different issue, this is different," It may be recalled here that the UPA government had already ruled out any danger to its existence in the wake of the no-trust motion saying that it had sufficient number on its side.
