Committee of IAS officers and CID to investigate Volvo bus tragedy

A group of IAS officers and also with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) would probe the Hyderabad bound Volvo bus tragedy in which 45 passengers were burnt alive leaving five injured in Palem in Mahabubnagar district.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar on Friday announced this. He said that the committee would suggest measures to prevent such accidents in future according to a statement from Chief Minister's office said. The remains were preserved and the officials were collecting blood samples of the relatives for DNA tests at the Forensic Science Laboratory.
One still critical, say hospital authorities
The condition of Yogesh who received 45 to 50 burn injuries continue to remain critical and the remaining four victims who received 10 to 22 per cent are stable and are recovering said the Apollo Hospital DRDO hospital doctors.
