CBI files three more charge-sheets in disproportionate assets case of Jagan Mohan Reddy

Central Bureau of Investigation that is investigating the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday filed three charge sheets in a court taking the number to eight. The CBI counsel said that it would be filing the rest within two or three days.
The investigating agency framed charge sheets relating to India Cements, Penna Cements and Bharati Cements and named 25 accused and charging them under provisions of various sections of IPC. It named Jagan Mohan Reddy as the accused number one in all the charge sheets.
In the charge sheet relating to India Cements, the CBI named N Srinivasan in one of the accused who is the Managing Director of India Cements and former chief of Indian Cricket Board. It is alleged that India Cements alleged invested Rs.140 crore into Jagan Mohan Reddy's business in return for the benefits it received from the Government which was headed by Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy who was the father of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
It may be recalled that Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested by the investigating agency in May last and is currently in Chanchalguda Central Prison. It may recalled here that the Supreme Court of India directed the CBI to file all the charge sheets by September 8 and suggested Jagan Mohan Reddy to move for a bail after the said date.
