September 3, 2013 - Hyderabad
BJP State president G Kishan Reddy appealed the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Leader of Opposition Nara Chandrababu Naidu to take initiative to hold an all-party meeting to put an end to the turmoil in the State.
Speaking to the media after the State BJP SC Morcha Executive Meeting, he said that TDP, Congress and YSRCP were playing with the future of the State by fuelling protests in Seemandhra region and taking out yatras though they had earlier batted for the State's division. He said that these three parties were trying to get political mileage out of the announcement of the CWC on bifurcation of the State. He charged the Chief Minister of making statements favoring Samaikyandhra and encouraging protests in the region at the behest of Congress central leadership.. Flaying the Congress, TDP and YSRCP for only showing one side of the coin to the people highlighting the losses resulting out of bifurcation, he said there were many advantages from the division like creation of employment in lakhs in both the regions and decentralization of administration.
