Akbaruddin produced before Sangareddy court

The legal troubles of MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi will not be over soon. MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi was produced before a Sangareddy court in connection to a 2005 case where he allegedly caused obstruction of duty to the then collector Singhal and also allegedly abused him. The Sangareddy police has filed a petition before the court on January 11, when the court ordered Akbaruddin to be produced before it today.

After appearing before the court, Akbaruddin told the judge that is unwell. The judge has adjourned the case to the 28th of this month and sent him back to the Adilabad district jail. Earlier, a large number of MIM party workers reached the court and raised slogans in support to Akbaruddin. The police resorted to lathi charge to chase away the protesters.

In yet another case in connection to the hate speech, the police is likely to produce Akbaruddin before a Nizamabad court on January 19.
