APNGOs urge Union Ministers to quit

The APNGOs association president P Ashok Babu on Monday once again appealed the Union Ministers to submit their resignation papers in protest against the Cabinent note on creation of Telangana as and when circulated to them. Speaking at a press conference at Hindupur before proceeding to participate in the 'Lepakshi Basvanna Ranke' programme, he asked them to resign creating a history of sorts. He said that those public represena5ives who failed to resign would not only lose their face but also in the next elections. Speaking at the programme, he predicted that the State would be united even in 2014 although the ongoing movement would a long drawn one and appealed the people to protest till bifurcation was withdrawn.
Seemandhra employees to stage dharna at Jantar Mantar on September 27
Secretariat Seemandhra Employees Forum convenor T Venkata Subbaiah said in a statement that they will stage a Maha Dharna at Jantar Mantar on September 27 in protest against bifurcation of the State. He said that they planned to bring national awareness on the concerns of Seemandhra people over proposed bifurcation. He added all the political parties would be invited for the dharna programme to 'Save Andhra Pradesh' and added that a day before the programme, they would take out a candle rally from AP Bhavan to India Gate Junction.
