AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 arrives to State by special flight

The Home Ministry has sent the copies of AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 through its Joint Secretary Suresh Kumar by a special fight.
President Pranab Mukherjee who appended his signature on the draft Bill on Wednesday and a covering letter of the Home Ministry to the Chief Secretary indicated that the Bill be returned by January 23 after a discussion in the Assembly indicating the opinion of the House as well as those of individual members. The Joint Secretary brought the bill in five bundles drove straight from the Begampet airport to the Secretariat and handed over them to the Chief Secretary AK Mohanty and later drove to Raj Bhavan where he handed over them. The Chief Secretary had handed over the Bill to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and he is now required to send the draft Bill to Governor ESL Narasimhan.

It is learnt that the Union Home Ministry has taken care to send sufficient number of copies for distribution to the 278 MLAs and 90 MLCs and is expected to be in their hands on Friday morning, said sources.
