  • Minister for Information and Broadcasting D K Aruna toured in Kodur mandal of Mahabubnagar district as part of campaigning for the bye-elections. She held roadshows in Kondravupalli, Ettham, Mailaram, Kadirepadu, Bhajapur, Singayapalli, Pachipalli villages. She charged TRS candidate and former minister Jupally Krishna Rao, saying that he is using the Telangana sentiment for his personal gains. She said that the Congress party earlier entrusted him with the responsibility of developing the Kollapur constituency, but he has failed to do so.
  • Telangana TDP forum leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu staged a padayatra to the assembly again today in protest against TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao. He charged the TRS president for playing with the sentiments of the people for his personal gain.
  • The Andhra Pradesh Assembly session was adjourned for 15 minutes early today. Speaker Nadendla Manohar rejected the adjournment motions proposed and the opposition parties have insisted on a discussion.
  • TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu will tour in Telangana from tomorrow onwards to campaign for the bye-elections. He will tour in Nagarkurnool on 9th, Mahabubnagar on 10th, Kamareddy on 11th, Adilabad on 12th, Kollapur on 13th, Station Ghanpur on 14th.
