  • Sons of G Venkat Swamy former minister Vinod and MP Vivek have met with him today. It is learnt that they might pressurize him to take back his comments on Sonia Gandhi.
  • Labour Minister Danam Nagendar has found fault with G Venkat Swamy's comments on Sonia Gandhi which were made yesterday. He demanded that Kaka should apologize for his comments and threatened him with a defamation suit in case he doesn't withdraw his comments. He also demanded that Kaka should be suspended from the party.

  • Officials from the Pepperdine University in USA have met with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office today. IT Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah was also present during the interaction. It is reported that the discussion was on setting up a university campus in the state.

They said that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy himself mentioned that former Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy is among the suspects. They questioned the clean chit given to Jagan by the CBI in the case.

  • The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has made it compulsory for guests to show their identification cards when taking rooms at the guest houses. A decision to this effect was taken by the management today. In a press release, TTD announced that the new requirement is to prevent crimes at the hill top. It is known that a woman was murdered in one of the rooms at the guest house recently.
