State Government to fill DSC-2008 posts soon

Minister for Secondary Education, Manikya Varaprasada Rao announced the Government's decision to allot 70 per cent posts to B.Ed candidates and 30 per cent to the D. Ed candidates. This will put an end to the uncertainty over the appointment of selected candidates of DSC 2008.

Speaking to the press, Varaprasada Rao said he arrived to this decision after consultation with various legal experts and the Advocate General. The minister signed the file to this effect and sent it to the Director of School Education for further action. Nearly 30,000 teachers' posts will be filled once it is put into implementation. Issuance of appointment orders and counseling will be scheduled by the Director soon.
