YS Vivekananda Reddy meets Jagan

Agriculture Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the morning at the later's residence in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media briefly while coming out of the meeting, Viveka said his visit has nothing to do with the current state of politics in Andhra Pradesh.

Vivekananda Reddy said that their family relations will always be cordial. He said that the meeting with Jagan is only to show that there is no split in the family as reported in the media. Citing the example of Madhav Rao Scindia, he mentioned that there are many families in the country which has different political opinions within the family.

Supporters of Jagan have raised slogans demanding Viveka to resign to his minister post. They also tried to stop him from leaving. An angry Vivekananda Reddy had an argument with them before speeding away in his car.

Meanwhile, some of the Cabinet ministers expressed their disappointment on the portfolios allocated to them. Vatti Vasanth Kumar and Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy have yesterday resigned from their posts.

Vivekananda Reddy later met with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. He then went to the Agriculture Department Commissioner's office.
