Departmental enquiry ordered into the incident

In a surprising incident, 100 bullets and 3 magazines were found missing from Rajahmundry Armed Reserve Camp station in the wee hours of Sunday. According to SP Y Nagi Reddy, the three magazines are 303 weapon magazines, they are taking serious note of the incident, and departmental enquiry is on in this incident.

Nagi Reddy said that they held two persons AR Constables viz., Srinivas of Addteegala and Satyanand of Mandapeta who were on duty, responsible for the missing of the bullets and magazines. However, unofficial sources says, that bullets and magazines have been missing for quite some time and it came to light only on Saturday night.

It is learnt that there is a dispute between two constables, which led to the missing of the ammunition and it is also said that Satyanand has allegedly sold some bullets and magazines to meet his alleged vices. Meanwhile, it is said that Srinivs made a suicide attempt after he was interrogated by Additional SP of Ramachodavaram where he was attached.
