Chief Minister to work from Secretariat

The Chief Minister has started working from the Secretariat from today onwards. Kiran Kumar Reddy enetered his new office in the C Block at 9:52 am. Priests from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) were invited to perform the pooja. Kiran Kumar Reddy signed his first file as Chief Minister relating to the 'Aarogya Sri' scheme today. He later signed a couple of other files relating to Social Welfare. This is the first time he is entering into the Secretariat after taking charge as the Chief Minister. The CM has signed on 3 files so far now. The first Aarogya Sri program file sanctions Rs. 145 crors for the Aarogya Sri programs in the two Godavari districts, Chittoor and Nalgonda. Another file is about hiking the money allocated to poor patients in Government Hospitals to Rs. 40 per day.

Kiran Kumar Reddy had asked the visitors yesterday, not to bring any flower bouquets or such items while meeting him and instead make contributions to the CM's Relief fund. The Chief Minister had handpicked his own team for the CM's Office.

A quick look at the list shows that the Congress has intentionally ignored the candidates who are loyal to Jagan Mohan Reddy.
